Binaural beats generator
Free binaural tone generator and stereo frequency player — two very close hertz frequencies, one per ear. Your brain perceives a slow pulsing beat at the difference. Use headphones; laptop speakers won't work. Part of our free online frequency generator toolkit.

Novelty / relaxation use only — not a medical claim. Keep volume low, take breaks, stop if you feel dizzy or uncomfortable. Not a treatment for sleep, anxiety, focus, or any condition. Everything runs locally.
How binaural beats work
Play 200 Hz in the left ear and 210 Hz in the right and most listeners perceive a 10 Hz wobble that exists in neither channel alone — the auditory system compares the two pure tones. The effect requires stereo headphones, one isolated hertz sound per ear, which is why this pitch generator pans fully left and right.
Common groupings people explore: ~1–4 Hz (“delta”), ~4–8 Hz (“theta”), ~8–13 Hz (“alpha”), ~13–30 Hz (“beta”). Treat these as listening curiosities and relaxation rituals, not therapy. Evidence for effects beyond placebo is weak, and no tone generator Hz tone here diagnoses or treats anything.
